Towner Energy Center

The Towner Energy Center is a proposed clean energy project located in Kiowa County, Colorado. that will generate homegrown energy to meet the nation's growing demand for cleaner, more affordable, reliable electricity, while creating jobs and investing in local communities. The proposed Towner Energy Center includes Towner West, a 500+ megawatt wind energy projects. Additional phases will aim to capture and store the superior wind and solar resources of the Eastern Plains.

Towner East is now owned by Xcel Energy
